The cultural expert shared a selfie with his Instagram followers showing him putting a food blender into a Recycle Your Electricals box, after a clear-out of unwanted electricals and other items at his home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nick said he’d been inspired by the Recycle Your Electricals Cash In Your Electricals<\/a> campaign. The campaign, launched in November 2020, is encouraging the public to unleash the financial value locked up in the old electrical equipment many of us have hidden away at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI did a massive sort-out,” Nick told his followers on Cyber Monday, when retailers discount electrical and electronic goods to boost sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the Cash In Your Electricals campaign had prompted him to “do something with the huge pile of old electricals” he’d found in his house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You can make on average \u00a3620 per household by selling electricals,\u201d said Nick. “Or you can recycle them like I’m doing.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PR expert and star of Sky One’s fashion series Project Catwalk<\/em> also answered questions about the campaign from his Intagram followers, including how to find their nearest electricals recycling point<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
