But I&#8217;m doing this because it&#8217;s really important.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Showing a Recycle Your Electricals cardboard box, he says:&nbsp; &#8220;We&#8217;ve all got a collection of things about the house like the ones in this box &#8211; electrical things, electronic things, devices. Don&#8217;t throw them away. You can sell them, you can donate them, or you can recycle them. But never, ever, ever put them in landfill.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throwing electricals out with household rubbish is &#8220;a terrible waste&#8221;, he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In November 2020 Lewis alongside TV presenter Kate Thornton helped launch the Recycle Your Electricals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recycleyourelectricals.org.uk\/electrical-recycling\/sell-second-hand-electronics\/\">Cash In Your Electricals campaign<\/a>. The campaign is drawing attention to the fact that the average UK household is hoarding electricals items that could be worth some \u00a3620 if resold second hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<section
